HOW TO MAKE HAKE LOINS WITH BACON
Step 1: Wrap a bacon slice on each hake loin. Place the loins on a baking dish and season with salt, nutmeg, oregano, unpeeled tomatoes cut into quarters, onion cut into quarters and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and let marinate about 1 hour.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 3: Bake until the bacon start to turn slightly golden, about 45 to 50 minutes. Occasionally, drizzle the fish with the sauce.
Step 4: Turn off the oven and serve the fish with white rice or fries.
TIPS FOR HAKE LOINS WITH BACON
1. If starts to brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. If you have leftovers, store the hake in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

- 2 small ripe tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) raw bacon cut into slices
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- Oregano (to taste)
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt (to taste)
