HOW TO MAKE STEWED STEAKS
Step 1: Season the steaks with a little salt, pepper, nutmeg, chopped garlic and bay leaf. Marinate about 30 minutes.
Step 2: In a frying pan, add the olive oil and the sliced onion. Sauté over low heat for about 5 minutes. Add the steaks with the marinade and drizzle with white wine. Cook the steaks on both sides over low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 3: Turn off the heat and serve the steaks with fries or white rice.

- 4 beef steaks (about 450 grams (1 pound))
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) white wine
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Pepper (to taste)
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 1 large onion
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt (to taste)
