This is one of those recipes everyone likes! Season the chicken with delicious spices and cook it with tomato, onion, white wine and olive oil. It’s perfect to serve in a lunch with family.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg (2 1/4 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Nutmeg (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Oregano (to taste)
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Place the olive oil, the chopped onion, the peeled tomatoes cut into small pieces and the chicken in a saucepan and season with salt, chopped garlic, pepper, oregano, nutmeg and white wine. Stir, cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for about one hour, stirring occasionally.

    Step 2


    1. Turn off the heat and serve with mashed potato or white rice.
