HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN STEW WITH PEAS AND CARROT:

In a saucepan, add the sliced onion, bacon cut into pieces, chopped garlic, olive oil, bay leaf  and sauté over low heat until the onion start to turn golden brown. Add the peeled tomatoes cut into small chunks, chicken, peas and the carrot cut into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, white wine and coriander. Stir and simmer for about 1 hour. Turn off the heat and serve.

  • 800 grams (1 3/4 pounds) chicken cut into pieces
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 400 grams (2 2/3 cups) peas
  • 1 large onion
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 50 grams (1 3/4 ounces) raw bacon
  • 1 large carrot
  • Bay leaf (to taste)
  • Coriander (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, add the sliced onion, bacon cut into pieces, chopped garlic, olive oil, bay leaf  and sauté over low heat until the onion start to turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the peeled tomatoes cut into small chunks, chicken, peas and the carrot cut into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, white wine and coriander. Stir and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  3. Turn off the heat and serve.
