INGREDIENTS FOR AIR FRYER CHESTNUTS
Here you'll find all the ingredients needed to make this air fryer chestnuts:
- Chestnuts - Chestnuts in a bowl of hot water seasoned with salt.
- Hot water - Hot water helps to peel the chestnuts more easily.
- Salt - To season the chestnuts.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER CHESTNUTS
Step 1: Wash the chestnuts very well.
Step 2: Using a sharp knife, make a crosswise cut in each chestnut.
Step 3: Place the chestnuts in a bowl with hot water and salt (1 teaspoon). Let them soak for about 30 minutes.
Step 4: Dry the chestnuts and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Season the chestnuts with salt (1 teaspoon). You will have to work in batches if your air fryer does not have enough space.
Step 5: Air fry for about 20 minutes at 200ºC (400ºF), (flipping halfway).

- 300 grams (10 1/2 ounces) chestnuts
- Hot water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Wash the chestnuts very well.
- Using a sharp knife, make a crosswise cut in each chestnut.
- Place the chestnuts in a bowl with hot water and salt (1 teaspoon). Let them soak for about 30 minutes.
- Dry the chestnuts and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Season the chestnuts with salt (1 teaspoon). You will have to work in batches if your air fryer does not have enough space.
- Air fry for about 20 minutes at 200ºC (400ºF), (shaking halfway).
