HOW TO MAKE GRILLED BREADS WITH OLIVE SAUCE

Step 1: Beat the yogurt, flour, baking powder and the salt until obtain a compact mixture.

Step 2: Place the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved.

Step 3: Divide the dough in 12, flatten the dough with a rolling pin or with your own hands and make 3 diagonal cuts across each bread.

Heat a grill pan and when is hot, grill the breads on both sides until golden brown.

Step 4:
For the sauce: Place the olive oil, mustard, chopped garlic, chopped rosemary, a pinch of salt into the blender and blend on high for 15 seconds. and blend on high for 15 seconds.

Step 5: Brush the breads with the sauce and serve.

    Ingredients

    • 250 grams (8 3/4 ounces) natural yogurt
    • 300 grams (about 2 cups) all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • Salt (to taste)
    • For the sauce:

    • 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon mustard
    • Rosemary (to taste)
    • 1 clove of garlic
    • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    1. In an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, beat on medium speed the yogurt, flour, baking powder and the salt until obtain a compact mixture.
    2. Place the dough over a table sprinkled with flour and knead it well until it’s fully involved (if necessary add a little more flour).
