FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is it better to bake pork steaks at 350 or 400?
If you prefer tender and juicy steaks we recommend to bake at 180ºC (350ºF) or even at 150ºC (300ºF). It might take a bit longer to bake but the steaks will absorb the seasonings much more.
If you prefer a quicker cooking time and steaks with a nice crust, bake at 200ºC (400ºF).
How long should I marinate the pork steaks?
For the best results, and if you have time, marinate for 2 to 4 hours. Our suggestion is to marinate at least for about 2 hours, but If you are short on time, you can reduce the marinating time to 1 hour or skip this step.
Skipping the marination step might speed up the process, but the steaks will lose flavor and tenderness.
Can I replace white wine with lemon juice?
Absolutely, but reduce the marinade time.
