HOW TO MAKE CLAMS WITH BACON AND GARLIC
Step 1: Soak the clams in water seasoned with salt about 1 to 2 hours. Wash them under running water before cooking.
Step 2: In a frying pan, add the olive oil, unpeeled crushed garlic and the bacon cut into strips. Sauté on a medium-low heat for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the clams, stir, cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat until the clams open completely.
Step 3: Sprinkle with chopped coriander and turn off the heat. Serve the clams with a good and fresh white wine!

- 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) clams
- 75 grams (2 2/3 ounces) raw bacon
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 50 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- Coriander (to taste)
- Water
- Salt (to taste)
