HOW TO MAKE STEWED CHICKEN LEGS
Step 1: Season the chicken legs with lemon juice, salt, nutmeg, pepper and sliced garlic.
Step 2: In a saucepan, add the sliced onion, the carrot cut into slices and the olive oil. Sauté on a low heat until the onion start to turn slightly golden. Add the chicken legs, marinade, white wine and cook on a low heat for about 1 hour.

- 2 chicken legs (about 600 grams (1 1/3 pounds))
- 1 medium carrot
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) white wine
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 2 medium onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Juice of two lemons
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Season the chicken legs with lemon juice, salt, nutmeg, pepper and sliced garlic. Let marinate for 1 hour.
