HOW TO PREPARE STEWED MEAT WITH POTATOES AND PEAS:
In a saucepan put the olive oil, the chopped onion, the peeled garlic, the meat, the potatoes cut into cubes, the peeled tomato cut into small pieces, white wine, the green pepper cut into strips, bay leaf and the peas. Season with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir with a wooden spoon and heat the pan over medium-low heat about 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and serve.

- 500 grams (17 1/2 ounces) beef cut into cubes
- 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) potatoes
- 200 grams (1 1/3 cups) peas
- 4 medium ripe tomatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Pepper (to taste)
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 green pepper
- Nutmeg (to taste)
