HOW TO MAKE TUNA PÂTÉ

Step 1: Drain the tuna and flake it with a fork.

Step 2: In a food processor, add the onion cut into chunks, peeled garlic, oregano and parsley. Pulse until well chopped.

Step 3: Place this mixture in a bowl and combine with the tuna, mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice.

Step 4: Serve with bread slices or toasts.

RECIPE TIPS

1. If you have leftovers, store the pâté in the fridge in a properly airtight container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms).

2. If you want add a little more flavor and color to this pâté, you can add a boiled egg cut into small pieces.

• 150 grams (5 1/3 ounces) canned tuna
• 1 small onion
• Parsley (to taste)
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon oregano
• 1 clove of garlic
