HOW TO MAKE TRADITIONAL BAKED COD:

Cut the cod into pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut them in half.
In the bottom of a glass baking dish, place the sliced onions and 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil. On top of the onion and the olive oil, place the cod pieces, potatoes and the unpeeled crushed garlic.   • 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) desalted cod
  • 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) small potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 200 ml (about 1 cup) olive oil
