HOW TO MAKE EASY HOMEMADE BEEF STEW
Step 1: Peel, wash the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Peel, wash the carrot and cut into small pieces. Wash the green beans, cut the ends and remove the strings. Cut the green beans into small pieces and set aside in a bowl of water along with the potatoes and carrot pieces.
Step 2: In a large saucepan, add the peeled tomato cut into chunks, beef cubes, chopped onion, minced garlic, bay leaf, salt (1 teaspoon), pepper and the olive oil.
Stir with a wooden spoon and cook over low heat for about 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Add the potatoes, carrots and green beans. Season with salt (1 teaspoon) and pour in the water (enough water to cover everything).
Stir and boil over medium-high heat.
Step 4: When it starts to boil, reduce to medium-low heat and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Turn off the heat and serve.
RECIPE TIPS
1. To give the recipe a little more color and flavor, you can add 3 to 4 tablespoons of tomato paste.
2. If you have leftovers, let it cool to room temperature and store in the fridge in a properly airtight container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms).
