HOW TO PREPARE STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM:

Place the strawberries in a blender and blend on high until obtain a creamy mixture.
Beat the cream with a tablespoon of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Beat the egg yolks and the sugar until obtain a soft and homogenous mixtures. Add the strawberries cream and mix well with a spatula. Add the cream and fold carefully.
Place the cream in individual bowls and freeze for about six hours or overnight. Bon appetit!!

Ingredients

  • 450 grams (1 pound) strawberries
  • 200 ml (1/2 pint (236 ml)) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar to beat the cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 grams (1/2 cup) granulated sugar

Directions

  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the stem and cut them into pieces. Place the strawberries in a blender and blend on high until obtain a creamy mixture.
  2. Beat the cream with a tablespoon of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Reserve in the fridge.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat on medium speed the egg yolks and the sugar until obtain a soft and homogenous mixture. Add the strawberries cream and mix well with a spatula. Then, add the whipped cream and fold gently.
  4. Place the cream in individual bowls and freeze about six hours or overnight.
