Chops in tomato sauce always taste well, are easy to prepare and ideal for any occasion.

Units: Metric / (Units: US)

Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops (about 250 grams / (8 3/4 ounces))
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 50 ml / (3 1/3 tablespoons) white wine
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 50 ml (3 1/3 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Salt (to taste)

    Directions

    Step 1


    1. Season the chops with salt, white wine, pepper and bay leaf; set aside.

    Step 2


    1. Put the olive oil, the onions cut into round slices, the green pepper cut into strips, the peeled whole garlics and the peeled tomato cut into small pieces in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the tomato start to break down, stirring occasionally. Then, add the chops and simmer about 15 to 20 minutes.

    Step 3


    1. Turn off the heat and serve the chops drizzled with the sauce and with spaghetti.
