HOW TO MAKE SWEET AND SOUR TURKEY
Step 1: Cut the steaks into small pieces.
Step 2: Season with honey, salt, garlic powder, nutmeg, lemon juice and thyme. Mix the seasonings in the meat and let marinate about 30 minutes.
Step 3: In a large skillet, add the olive oil and the sliced onion. Stir and sauté on a medium-low heat until the onion start to turn slightly golden, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Add the turkey pieces and the marinade and cook over medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Season with cinnamon, mix well, turn off the heat and serve.
RECIPE TIPS
1. If you have leftovers or want to save the recipe for another day, let the steaks cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms).
2. If you want to add a little more flavor to the recipe, let the turkey pieces marinate for about 2 hours.
3. We made this recipe with turkey steaks cut into pieces, but you can make the recipe without cutting the steaks, the preparation method is the same.
