HOW TO MAKE PORTUGUESE BEEF AND ONIONS
Step 1: Season the steaks with salt, garlic powder, pepper, paprika, white wine and fresh thyme; set aside.
Step 2: In a large frying pan, add the sliced onions, peeled tomato cut into small chunks and the olive oil.
Stir and cook over low heat until the tomato start to break down, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Add the steaks and the marinade. Cook the steaks on both sides over medium-low heat for about 10-12 minutes.
Step 4: Turn off the heat and serve with green peas rice, mashed potatoes or lemon rice.
