HOW TO MAKE ROASTED TURKEY WITH POTATOES
Step 1: Place the onions cut into round slices in the bottom of a baking pan and, on top, the turkey leg and the unpeeled potatoes. Season with some salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg, the peeled whole garlic, lemon juice and the bay leaves. Drizzle with olive oil and white wine and let marinate about 1 hour.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Step 3: Bake until golden brown, about 1 hour and 45 minutes (if it starts to golden too much, cover the leg with aluminum foil). Occasionally, drizzle the turkey leg and the potatoes with the sauce.
Step 4: Turn off the oven and serve. Bon appetit!!!
TIPS FOR ROASTED TURKEY WITH POTATOES
1. If the turkey leg starts to golden brown too much cover with aluminum foil.
2. We usually roast at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to roast, it has the advantage of enhancing the flavors much more and the meat gets more tender.
3. If you have leftovers, store the meat in the fridge in a properly covered container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out the meat, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

- 1 kg (2 1/4 pounds) turkey leg
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- Juice of one lemon
- 1.2 kg (2 2/3 pounds) small potatoes
- Pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Nutmeg (to taste)
- 5 bay leaves
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 2 medium onions
- Salt (to taste)
